In this post, you will learn about a specific Surah Al-Insan wazifa that is traditionally practised with the intention of seeking a husband’s compassion, affection, and understanding. If you wish to follow this practice for 14 days, it may help you focus on improving harmony and reducing difficulties within the relationship between husband and wife, by the blessings of Surah Al-Insan.
It is important to understand that, before marriage, a woman cannot always know her future husband’s true nature and temperament. This is because, before marriage, both men and women generally try to present the best possible version of themselves to others, both outwardly and inwardly.
A husband’s true temperament often becomes clearer to his wife only after some time has passed following marriage.
In other words, sometimes a harsh or oppressive personality may remain hidden behind someone who appears kind and respectable, and some women only become aware of this side of their husband after marriage.
Many Muslim women come to understand their husband’s real character and temperament more clearly after marriage.
If you are struggling with your husband’s harshness, mistreatment or bad temper, simply remaining silent may not be enough to improve the situation. Strengthening your relationship requires a balanced approach that includes sensible action, sincere dua, and practical efforts.
As the focus of this article is a wazifa for seeking a husband’s compassion, this post will explain a specific traditional practice associated with seeking greater compassion, a gentler attitude, and affection from a husband. This wazifa involves Surah Al-Insan, which is found in the 29th Juz of the Qur’an and consists of 31 verses.
The incident of Hazrat Fizza
Before beginning the Surah Al-Insan wazifa, it is worth learning about Hazrat Fizza. According to some well-known Islamic scholars, the eighth verse of this blessed Surah is associated with Hazrat Fizza and reflects her love and devotion towards the Ahl al-Bayt.
Hazrat Fizza was a devoted servant who was known for her love and loyalty towards the Ahl al-Bayt.
According to some scholars, Verse 8 of Surah Al-Insan refers to an incident in which Hazrat Fizza observed three fasts as an expression of gratitude for the recovery and well-being of Hazrat Imam Hasan and Hazrat Imam Hussain. During each of those days, at the time of breaking the fast, an orphan, a needy person, and a hungry person would come to the door asking for food. Hazrat Fizza would give them her own food and remain hungry herself.
It is also related that, on one occasion, the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم asked Hazrat Fizza how she was managing her life. She replied that she remained constantly engaged in the remembrance of Allah. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم then prayed for her. According to this account, Allah appointed an angel to assist Hazrat Fizza with her daily work, although she herself was unaware of this assistance.
Wazifa Surah al-Insan for Husband Love
To seek greater compassion and affection from your husband, on Friday, after offering the Isha prayer, recite Durood Shareef 10 times. Then recite Surah Al-Insan three times, followed by the dua given below once.
Translation:
“O Allah, grant me the compassion and love of my husband.”
The dua mentioned above is not found in the Hadith in this exact wording. However, as its meaning is supported by the teachings found in Hadith, there is no harm in reciting it.
The wazifa described above may be practised for at least 14 days. InshaAllah, continuing this practice may help you seek greater love and compassion from your husband.
